Daily Qigong Tip
Belly Button Pressing Method A simple method which can be practiced everyday after you go to bed and before you fall asleep:
1. When in bed, try to let go of everything in your mind, time to rest, to rest
2. Lie on your back, relax and make yourself comfortable
3. Use either thumb to press on your belly button, with the other hand holding down your first hand
4. Breathe naturally
5. Focus on your lower stomach around your belly button area
6. Gradually increase the pressure and press down as deep as you can and keep your hand this deep when breathing
7. If you feel any pain when pressing, it is normally a sign of disordered Qi in the related area. Continue the practice if the pain is tolerable; ease the pressure if the pain is too much
8. Your length of practice should be 5 to 15 minutes each time
Function: Reorganize Qi in your lower stomach and your entire body
Health Benefits: Helpful for almost any chronic health problem, especially ones related to the reproductive system and digestive system. Try each night for one week and email me with your experience if you wish!

Food/Nutrition
A Convenient Tool To Good Nutrition: SoyMaker In the past six years, our family has been using a soy milk maker to make fresh soy milk every morning. We enjoy the soy milk very much as part of our breakfasts and we all believe that the freshly made soy milk contributes to our good health.
To make soy milk, here is what we do every morning: 1. Fill SoyMaker with water 2. Rinse soaked soybeans (dry soybeans soaked over night in refrigerator) and put in SoyMaker 3. Plug in SoyMaker 4. Wait for the beep (about 15 minutes later) and the soy milk is done!
A pound of dry soybeans will last you about 2 weeks and the Soy Maker cost less than $100 on the internet. (We are using our second Soy Maker now after 6 years, and the first one we bought is still useable, just bit old)
So I highly recommend that you try it for your better health. In my personal opinion, the soy maker can also be a great gift to families and friends if you are trying to help them gain a healthier life style.

Touch On Fengshui
Fengshui in Chinese is a word which consists of ¡®wind¡¯ and ¡®water¡¯, and indicates nature. How energy (Qi) flows in our environment is greatly affected by how wind blows and water flows.
The environmental energy (Qi) around us, has a great impact upon our lives, and of course our health. For a health conscious person, knowing some basic Fengshui information is rewarding and useful. In future issues of our Healthy Qi Newsletters, I will touch on some basics of Fengshui and provide some practical Fengshui tips.
